Independent Diamond Valuers International Pty Ltd (IDVI) is an independent diamond valuation company offering diamond industry consultancy services, primarily the valuation of rough diamonds. Unlike other globally mined commodities, the value of diamonds cannot be determined by empirical measurement. Rather, the value of diamonds are assessed on their colour, quality (clarity), model (shape) and size (ct). What distinguishes IDVI is its provision of a system incorporating a transparent valuation process that enables producers to measure and manage their production effectively.
