IDV Pty Ltd was established in 1998 with the sole purpose of providing services to diamond producers. The new name, IDVI Pty Ltd reflects the company’s commitment to providing services not just within Australia, but globally. Its aim is to provide producers who do not have diamond skills with the knowledge and ability to manage the sale of their productions in an informed and effective way. IDVI is unique in this service and unlike other diamond companies it holds no diamond inventory and is not involved in the trading of rough diamonds, other than when representing producers. This is to ensure IDVI avoids any possible conflict of interest while performing its duties. In short, IDVI provides producers with the equivalent of an in-house diamond operation.
