Geological and Bulk Sample Valuation and Analysis
The results from the geological and bulk samples are a key component in any decision making process on the viability of diamond exploration projects. As a result of the significant investment to obtain diamond samples it should be noted their real value far exceeds the value of the diamonds alone.
Valuations
IDVI’s 5000-point price structure (Price Book) enables measurement to the current market prices and is suitable for detailed valuations capable of measuring the intrinsic value of high and low priced productions. IDVI understands that removing the subjectivity from the pricing of diamonds is paramount for effective management of any production. IDVI has in place systems which maintain effective monitoring of market prices, can display diamond audit trails for the valuation process and can create the interface between producer, sales outlet or customers with the introduction of technical standards. These interrelated services allows for transparency at all levels of the valuation and sales process.

IDVI can support your diamond business outcomes with our administrative and support services, such as stock-tracking, assisting in mine to sales annual planning, working with shipping and sales agents, preparing stock/valuation reports and liaising with key stakeholders.
“Valuer”
Valuer is a software package which uses the valuation principals as used by the large corporate producers and valuers of diamonds, such as De Beers and Rio Tinto, to introduce consistency to the valuation process. Valuer combines a number of key processes designed specifically to place control of the valuation process in management’s hands. Valuer is a complete valuation application suitable for PC’s and laptops using the Windows environment. Valuer has the capability of operating independently or on a network, giving it the ability of valuing and analysing productions in remote regions with the same degree of accuracy and convenience as valuing in an office.
